Yamunotri Yatra Package

Yamunotri is among the summer months of May – June and earlier than the onset of the chilly winters in the months of September and November. The most important thing to keep in mind about Yamunotri is that the Yamunotri Shrine is usually closed from 3rd week of November to the 3rd week of April due to the extreme chilly climate.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

 Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar
  • Departure: Begin your journey from Delhi and travel to Haridwar, which takes approximately 5-6 hours (220 km).
  • Check-in: Arrive in Haridwar, check into your hotel, and take some time to relax.
  • Evening Ganga Aarti: Visit Har Ki Pauri for the spiritually uplifting evening Ganga Aarti.
  • Overnight: Stay in Haridwar.

 

 Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot
  • Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Travel to Barkot: Drive from Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie. Take a brief stop at Kempty Falls, a popular tourist spot (approx. 180 km, 6-7 hours).
  • Check-in: Arrive at Barkot and check into your accommodation.
  • Relax: Spend the evening relaxing in preparation for the trek the next day.
  • Overnight: Stay in Barkot.

 

 Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and Back
  • Early Morning Departure: Wake up early and drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point for the trek to Yamunotri (approx. 36 km from Barkot).
  • Trek to Yamunotri: Begin your 6 km trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri. You can hire a pony or palanquin if needed.
  • Darshan and Puja: Visit the Yamunotri Temple, perform Puja, and take a dip in the nearby hot springs.
  • Return Trek: Trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.
  • Overnight: Stay in Barkot.

 

 Day 4: Barkot to Haridwar
  • Morning Leisure: Enjoy a leisurely morning in Barkot.
  • Travel to Haridwar: Depart for Haridwar after breakfast, arriving in the afternoon (approx. 180 km, 6-7 hours).
  • Evening Free: Spend the evening at leisure in Haridwar, exploring local markets or visiting more temples.
  • Overnight: Stay in Haridwar.

 

 Day 5: Haridwar to Delhi
  • Breakfast: Have breakfast at your hotel.
  • Leisure Morning: Enjoy some free time in the morning to explore Haridwar further or relax.
  • Departure for Delhi: Depart for Delhi in the late morning or early afternoon, ensuring you reach by evening (approx. 5-6 hours).

 

Additional Notes:
  • Physical Preparedness: The trek to Yamunotri is moderately challenging, so being in good physical condition is important.
  • Weather Considerations: The weather can be quite variable; packing layers, waterproof clothing, and comfortable trekking shoes is advised.
  • Health and Safety: Carry all necessary medications, first aid kits, and stay hydrated, especially during the trek.

  • All Driver Charges included.

  • A) For Chardham yatra, a minimum of 9 days rental will be applicable. If yatra concludes before 9 days then also clients have to pay for 9 days. If in case yatra extends, then rental will also increase accordingly to the day added to the plan.
  • B)For Kedarnath-Badrinath, a minimum of 5 days rental will be applicable. If yatra concludes before 5 days then also clients have to pay for 5 days. If in case yatra extends, then rental will also increase accordingly to the day added to the plan.
  • C)For Gangoti-kedarnath-Badrinath, a minimum 07 days rental will be applicable. If yatra concludes before 7 days then also clients have to pay for 7 days. If in case yatra extends, then rental will also increase accordingly to the day added to the plan.
  • D)For Ex Delhi 02 days rental will be charged extra.
  • Driver will not drive after sunset, as it is not safe to drive late evening.
  • A/C will be switched off on the steep uphill drive.
  • Rates mentioned above in the table represent the minimum per day rental charges. During peak seasons, prices may vary from the provided rates due to high demand, vehicle shortages, or other external factors. Though once booked online making advance payment (20% of package cost), rates will be fixed.
  • In Case of cancellation of tour due to any reason , half the advance payment will be refunded.
  • In Case of rescheduling of tour dates due to any urgency, No deductions are made by Uttara cabs.
  • GST will be charged extra.
