Kedarnath Yatra Package

Counted between the 12 Jyotirlingas devoted to lord Shiva, Kedarnath is an extremely respected temple positioned in the Rudra Mountain range, near the River Mandakini in the Himalayas. The temple is measured to have been around 1000 years old and is linked with the epic Mahabharata.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

 Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar
  • Departure: Start your journey from Delhi to Haridwar early in the morning (220 km, approx. 5-6 hours).
  • Check-in: Arrive in Haridwar, check into your hotel, and relax.
  • Evening Ganga Aarti: Visit Har Ki Pauri for the enchanting evening Ganga Aarti.
  • Overnight: Stay in Haridwar.

 

 Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi
  • Breakfast: Have an early morning breakfast and prepare for a long drive.
  • Travel to Guptkashi: Drive to Guptkashi via Devprayag and Rudraprayag, observing the beautiful confluence of the Alaknanda with the Bhagirathi and Mandakini rivers (approx. 210 km, 7-8 hours).
  • Sightseeing Stops: Short stops at Devprayag and Rudraprayag for tea and photos.
  • Check-in: Arrive in Guptkashi and check into your accommodation.
  • Overnight: Stay in Guptkashi.

 

 Day 3: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
  • Early Start: After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag, then continue to Gaurikund to start your trek (drive 30 km, trek 16 km).
  • Trek to Kedarnath: Begin your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Opt for a pony or palanquin service if required.
  • Arrival & Darshan: Reach Kedarnath by afternoon and perform Darshan at the Kedarnath Temple.
  • Evening Aarti: Attend the evening Aarti and other rituals.
  • Overnight: Stay in Kedarnath (accommodation options are basic, so book in advance).

 

 Day 4: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
  • Morning Rituals: Participate in the morning Aarti and get blessings at the temple.
  • Return Trek: Trek back down to Gaurikund and then drive back to Guptkashi.
  • Rest and Relax: After a strenuous trek, relax in the evening.
  • Overnight: Stay in Guptkashi.

 

 Day 5: Guptkashi to Rishikesh/Delhi
  • Return Journey: Drive back to Rishikesh or directly to Delhi.
  • If returning to Rishikesh (approx. 190 km, 5-6 hours): Check into a hotel, explore local attractions like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and the Triveni Ghat for the evening Ganga Aarti.
  • If returning to Delhi (approx. 420 km, 10-11 hours): Drive directly back to Delhi for your onward journey or home, marking the end of the pilgrimage.

Read before you book!

  • All Driver Charges included.
  • All toll tax/ parking included.
  • A) For Chardham yatra, a minimum of 9 days rental will be applicable. If yatra concludes before 9 days then also clients have to pay for 9 days. If in case yatra extends, then rental will also increase accordingly to the day added to the plan.
  • B)For Kedarnath-Badrinath, a minimum of 5 days rental will be applicable. If yatra concludes before 5 days then also clients have to pay for 5 days. If in case yatra extends, then rental will also increase accordingly to the day added to the plan.
  • C)For Gangoti-kedarnath-Badrinath, a minimum 07 days rental will be applicable. If yatra concludes before 7 days then also clients have to pay for 7 days. If in case yatra extends, then rental will also increase accordingly to the day added to the plan.
  • D)For Ex Delhi 02 days rental will be charged extra.
  • Driver will not drive after sunset, as it is not safe to drive late evening.
  • A/C will be switched off on the steep uphill drive.
  • Rates mentioned above in the table represent the minimum per day rental charges. During peak seasons, prices may vary from the provided rates due to high demand, vehicle shortages, or other external factors. Though once booked online making advance payment (20% of package cost), rates will be fixed.
  • In Case of cancellation of tour due to any reason , half the advance payment will be refunded.
  • In Case of rescheduling of tour dates due to any urgency, No deductions are made by Uttara cabs.
  • GST will be charged extra.
